Michael Warren’s unwavering journey in country music has given him the chance to bring new fans into the genre that he’s loved since he was a kid growing up in Alabama.

After playing over 200 shows a year for almost a decade and writing songs on the west coast for A-listers like Toni Braxton, Akon, and Jennifer Lopez, Michael found his way back to his home along the Interstate 65 corridor where he splits time between Birmingham and Nashville. Or you’ll find him out playing shows with artists like Walker Hayes, Gabby Barrett, Cole Swindell, and Sam Hunt.

His four-song EP “What's Country To You” recorded in Nashville, TN channels his love of “Southern things – faith, family, friends, football, barbecue, hard work.” The EP has garnered millions of streams, earned Michael hundreds of thousands of new monthly listeners, and has been placed on several major playlists including New Boots and Hot Country. It has been featured on CMT, People, and Billboard. And Spotify just named Michael an Artist to Watch in 2024.

In 2025, Warren was chosen as 1 of 2 artists in mtheory, CMT, and CMA sponsored development program, Equal Access. He is ending the year with the release of his second Country project, “Getting Good At Telling Lies”, and EP compiled of songs that tell the hard truth.

Warren reimagines his contemporary influences like Rascal Flatts and John Mayer influenced by an upbringing that exposed him to equal parts Southern Hip hop and R&B icons to classics like James Taylor and Garth Brooks.

“For almost a decade I’ve been telling small-town stories through a blend of country, pop, and R&B and when people hear my music, I want them to feel like everything is going to be ok. Because it is.”
